Fun Stuff!

One of the best things about turning 10 and you are a military dependant is that you get to get your very own ID card! Justin got one back in May and he was so happy and excited. He has been talking about getting one for 2 years now! Every time we go on Post, he wants to show his ID card to the gate guards! It is so cute...

Then Nathan, my artist, was published in his favorite magazine Beckett Pokemon. First was some artwork of some Pokemon characters and the second was in the Fun Card section where you can take a Pokemon card and create a new one making it funny or whatever.

Since the age of 2, Nathan has been a terrible sleeper. He just doesn't like it. He would prefer to stay awake 24 hours if he could. He has trouble with nightmares and he used to have night terrors, but thankfully, he grew out of those. He also sleepwalks occasionally. He finally had a sleep study done where he had to be attached to 100's of wires and spend the night at a clinic. Jon stayed with him. It took over an hour just to get the wires on him! I guess we will have the results in a week or two. Nathan said he had fun!

Our Trip to Florida!

We spent two weeks in Florida and had a great time! We crammed so much stuff in those 2 weeks and you can see in the slide below. It is a long slide show--about 100 pics (only a third of all the pics I took)! At Jon's family reunion all but the oldest sibling (Mark) made it down!

They Can Finally Swim!!

Yes...it is embarrassing. The boys couldn't swim. It was 100% my fault since I passed down my fear of water and my "fantastic" swimming ability down to them. Plus, we lived in Germany (no water) and Texas (no water) until the boys were 7 and 5. Then, Jon and I always discussed swimming lessons every summer but they were always at 9 am which is the worst time for both of us. So, about a week ago, I thought...Forget it!! We have this nice, big neighborhood pool...I am going to finally teach them if it takes all summer and kills all of us!! On day one, Justin learned in 30 minutes. On day two, Nathan learned in 10...

St. Louis

We went to St. Louis recently to go to Six Flags and to go to the Arch, which is one of the boys favorite things to do. From the Arch, you could see the massive amount of flooding the State has had. Those Flags used to be in the middle of a parking lot.
