First Haircut

It really makes me sad when I have to cut my babies hair for the first time. It is cutting off the hair they had when they are born. It makes them into big boys and I didn't want to but I knew it was time. Justin had his first haircut at 23 months and Nathan was almost 24 months. Owen is almost 22 months and a few people (you know who you are S!) was saying he was looking like a girl, so I went ahead and gave in today.

Now, I am sappy and nostalgic almost to a fault but I couldn't help but remember when Justin and Nathan both got their first haircuts (you know what is coming...right?)

With Justin, it was March of 2000. I was 7 months pregnant with Nathan and we lived in Hanau, Germany. (We still have that hideous chair). Before:

With Nathan, we were living in Killeen, Texas. It was April, 2002. We had just bought our first house but had not moved in it yet but we gave him his haircut there. His was the most heartbreaking because he had those beautiful curls that never grew back.
